Yummo Squalenkale Soup

Yes, Squalenkale.  I've decided that's its name.

6c water
2 veggie broth cubes (I use the Knorr ones)
2c red lentils
1 square o'frozen squash (10 or 12 oz usually) thawed in a bowl in the microwave
2c frozen chopped kale
1 tsp yellow curry powder
2tsp garlic powder
1tsp 5 spice
salt and pepper to taste

Bring the water, broth cubes,curry, garlic and 5 spice to a boil.  Add in the lentils and squash, stir well, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.  Add kale in the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Serve with hearty bread!
